This is about you.

One-on-one coaching for owners, founders and leaders, in business and in life. The goal: six years of progress in six months.

Nothing upfront. A fixed fee you pay only if you’re satisfied, or a share of the gains for larger engagements.

Nobody is perfect.

Not you. Not your business. Not me.

Every owner carries blind spots: habits that made sense five years ago, work you still do yourself, decisions made on autopilot. You can’t see them, because you’re inside it every day.

You’re the rockstar.

You built something. You took the risk and kept it running when nobody else would.

I see the whole stage. Call me the band manager.

While you’re in the spotlight, I see the parts you miss: the wasted hours, the deal that’s quietly underpriced, the habit that’s costing you more than you think. I’m not here to take the stage. I’m here so you can play bigger on it.

From the spotlight, you can’t see any of that. That’s the view I bring.

So we step outside: outside the business, and outside yourself. First principles: what is this for, what’s working, and what are you doing only because you always have?

The goal: six years of progress in six months.

Six years is 72 months, one square each. The aim is to make all that progress in the first six.

My job is to focus you.

We do it with Locked In: one result, 90 days, every week checked against reality.

Locked In

The set list for one 90-day cycle

  1. Check your whole life

Score the five F’s from 0 to 10: faith, finances, friends & family, fun and fitness. Then name the gap. A low score is a signal, not a judgment.

  2. Choose one result

One area, one 90-day result, and the real problem behind it.

  3. Measure it honestly

One number, a truthful starting point, and a Day 90 target. One other area gets a weekly standard so it doesn’t slide.

  4. Do the Frogs first

Frogs are the important, finishable actions you’d rather avoid. We rank them, and you take the top one first.

  5. Review every week

What moved the number, what wasted the week, what you’re avoiding. Then one change: remove a habit that costs you, replace it with one that serves you, and repeat until it runs on its own.

Encore Run it again Two cycles is the six-month goal.

Miss a week? Restart from where you are. No catch-up, no guilt.

Try step one: check your mix.

Set each area from 0 to 10.

Biggest gap right now: Finances (4/10). That’s a likely place for a first 90-day cycle to start.

For larger engagements: a share of the upside

When you want more of my time, working hands-on in the business on strategy, systems, AI and deals, I can work the way a band manager does: for a cut of what’s new.

Upfront
Nothing. No retainer.
My share
20% of the measurable gain above your baseline (your last 12 months). You keep 80%.
When you pay
Once a year, while we work together and for 6 months after.
If it doesn’t work
No upside, no pay.
Your books
Open to me and kept confidential. NDA on request.

An example, for illustration only. Change the numbers to try your own.

Upside
$200,000
You keep (80%)
$160,000
My share (20%)
$40,000

Upside $200,000. You keep $160,000. My share $40,000. Everything up to your baseline stays yours. Above it, you keep 80%.

I’m expensive when it works and free when it doesn’t. I expand the pie; I don’t take a slice of the one you already have. Win for you, win for me.

Nami Barden

The inner work, when you want it.

Business problems are often personal ones in disguise: burnout, fear of the next step, a gap between what you value and how you spend your days. Nami works on this side, and a little of the spiritual side for those who want it. It’s included in the coaching, never forced.

Her aim is your best in all five F’s: faith, finances, friends & family, fun and fitness. Then she helps you create the perfect moment, when all five line up, and a model to repeat it.

Nami is the bestselling author of two books on inner development, published in Japan. Since 2018 she has worked one-on-one with more than 1,000 people and led executive retreats. Before that, she spent over a decade in real estate investment and development.

Straight answers.

What happens on the free call?

We spend 15 minutes on where you are and where you want to go. If I can help, you leave with a clear next step. If I can’t, I’ll tell you.

What does it cost?

Nothing upfront. One fixed fee per 90-day cycle, agreed on the call and paid at the end of the cycle. If you’re not satisfied, you don’t pay. For larger engagements, where I work hands-on in the business, I can instead take 20% of the profit you make above your last 12 months, while we work together and for 6 months after. No upside, no pay.

How much of my time does it take?

Not much. A 30-minute call each week for your first four weeks to get you going, then one 30-minute call a month. Between calls, you fill in a short weekly review and worksheets and send them to me through your client portal, and you can message me whenever you need me. Larger engagements get more of my time; we set that on the call.

How long do we work together?

In 90-day cycles. The goal, six years of progress in six months, is two cycles.

Can I stop after one cycle?

Yes. You decide at the end of each 90-day cycle whether to go on. On the upside path, the 20% still applies for the 6 months after we stop.

How do you measure the gain on the upside path?

We agree on the measure in writing before we start. Usually it’s profit, compared with your last 12 months. If profit isn’t the right measure for your business, we choose one that is.

What if profit rises for reasons that aren’t the coaching?

Before we start, we write down anything already in motion, like a planned price rise or a one-off sale, and leave it out of the gain.

How often is the 20% invoiced?

Once a year, on the full year’s gain against your baseline.

What if I don’t own the business, or it isn’t profitable yet?

Then the fixed fee is the one for you. The upside path needs a business you own and a measure we can track, usually profit, sometimes revenue.

Do I have to share my books?

Only on the upside path, because that’s how we measure the gain. Your numbers stay confidential, and I’ll sign an NDA if you want one.

Is the inner work therapy?

No. It’s coaching with Nami on mindset and values, not mental-health treatment. It’s included, and it’s up to you whether you use it.

Take six years, or aim for six months. Your call.

15 minutes. No cost, no pressure.
